Pumps Agidel 10: characteristics, instructions. The Agidel pump is a real legacy of the past of the USSR, which for several decades has still regularly performed all the functions and tasks assigned to it. Agidel M is a centrifugal surface and low-power pump that requires pre-priming at startup. The Agidel 10 pump model has everything a little better, and no priming is required, and it is also many times more powerful than the "M". Both types of pumps are designed to pump water from only clean sources.
In 1966, the inhabitants of the Soviet Union saw and were able to test the latest invention of that time from the Ufa Aggregate Plant - a pump for household needs called "Agidel ". Since then, he has been an indispensable assistant during the watering seasons among those who have their own land plots and greenhouses, that is, among gardeners. BTs-0.4-20 was a long-liver among pumps, since it appeared around 1965 and was produced for 30 years.
Its characteristic feature is the presence of a technological hole between the impeller and the stuffing box - it stopped the air that could remain inside when filling the pump with liquid before starting (air bubble).
It was also possible to unscrew the plug from it and screw in a fitting, a tap-valve, hoses, even a funnel. By the way, it was through the funnel that the volosts of the pump and the suction pipe could be filled with water.
Together with the installation of additional pipes in order to fill the pump, a hose was connected. At the top, there was an aluminum cover that covered the engine and served as a waterproof function. A few years later, the color of the device was changed, and the lid was no longer made of aluminum, but of plastic, but the components and the engine remained the same.
This was until 2013, when they decided to issue an "anti-crisis solution." Let's look at the current and most popular models that are bought and praised even today.
The Agidel M device is a special centrifugal mechanism that is installed on the surface, not immersed in water, and all this is near a water source (reservoir, wells, wells). If you install an ejector as an additional power unit, you can get 16 liters instead of the promised 8. The electric motor, which is installed under a plastic cover, rotates along the hub axis thanks to the blades.
Centrifugal force pushes liquid into the pipeline from the pump chamber using pressure. Water is continually added through the intake hose due to a reduced pressure zone that develops inside the wheel.
Agidel 10 is a self-priming pump with two chambers. The key point is the paddle wheel. As it rotates, it creates a vacuum.
The water mixes with the injected air to create a "draft" that pushes the sucked in fluid through the intake hose.Excess air is removed through a special technical opening. The pump can also run dry, but this use of the device can lead to its failure after a certain time of such misuse.
This model is now being made in China. The filling remains the same, but the design has changed slightly.
This pump is now dark orange in color and there are vents on the plastic cover. This only indicates that the engine tends to overheat, so a fan was additionally installed on it. By the way, the electric motor itself became 3 kg lighter, with all this the pumping part remained the same. With knowledge of this feature, it becomes clear why there is a cooling system. The bottom of the valve should be within 0.
3 meters of the bottom of the water source. Bearings and seals must be replaced after long-term operation, and water intake is permissible only from clean water bodies.

The cost of such a device is from 3000 rubles.
According to the users themselves, who had a chance to use the Agidel M pump, they had complaints during operation.
According to the reviews, it is clear that the main disturbances relate specifically to the design features and time constraints - it is not recommended to use the water pump outdoors in winter.
The best performance indicators are provided by powerful electric motors. But this, in turn, will affect high energy consumption. The pump body is aluminum, and the device is analogous to BTs-0.
4-20. We do not recommend using in the winter. The pump must never be connected vertically. The level of water pressure directly depends on the distance between the place of water discharge and the point of intake. Periodic flooding is not required.

Due to the characteristics of the Agidel 10 pump, its cost is from 4500 rubles.
Although in terms of technical parameters it may seem that the Agidel 10 is better than the M model, in reality the question is only in power and electrical energy consumption. In all other respects, there are no fundamental advantages.
So, we refer to the minuses:
Both models cannot be used in winter, but under some conditions, negative temperatures will not be an obstacle. So, for example, you can install it in an insulated pit or inside some container, but only on condition that you make high-quality insulation of the cable from moisture.
The Agidel 10 pump has slightly better characteristics, so no preliminary water filling is required before starting. Water does not appear immediately at the moment of switching on, but only after 3-6 minutes.
This is just a feature of self-priming systems, but keep in mind that the higher the water level inside the well, the faster the flow begins.
Of the most common types of malfunctions, it is worth highlighting those described below.
Solution : connect a hose with a larger diameter and reinforced walls (preferably a metal spiral in the frame), or a plastic water pipe.
All work on replacing components should be carried out only after the pump has been disconnected from the mains.
Solution for problem : disassemble the pump, this will require unscrewing 3 bolt on the cover. Remove the cover, and then unscrew the rest of the fasteners that are on the electric motor. Take it out and remove the pump volute.
Remove the rubber pad under the impeller. After that, you should remove the nut and then it will turn out to take out the axis of the impeller armature. Now it remains to get the bearing and the armature completely, then disconnect the first oil seal, disassemble the plastic and the second. Next, we install all the new components, put them back into the case in the same sequence, but vice versa.
Solution to problem : put a pump on the platform or well cover, as long as everything is on a flat surface. To protect from rain and sun, you should install a canopy or put the pump in a separate room (utility room, for example) or a warm pit. By the way, the latter option is considered extreme, since an increase in the length of the hose will only lead to a direct proportional decrease in the pressure.
Solution to problem : in order to control the level of the filling water, a funnel should be installed on the filling tube.
A swivel mechanism should be attached to the tube to let water into the suction chamber.
In general, the operation of the Agidel 10 and Agidel M pumps is stable. The characteristics of the devices are quite justified, especially considering the cost of the pump. Try not to neglect the operating tips so that the operation of the unit is extended for dozens of summer cottages.
