During the mechanical processing of wood, a lot of dust and small sawdust will be generated, therefore, the room in which they will work is properly prepared: furniture (machines, tools) is closed and high-quality ventilation is provided.

This will allow not only to level the surface, but also to remove small fibers, which, if not removed, will absorb paints and varnishes abundantly during further processing. The deeper the cuts, the more thorough the sanding should be.

Another way to artificially age wood is to burn it.

This method is less laborious, but more dangerous. It will take skill in handling a gas burner and utmost care during the work.

Fire treatment has its pros and cons. The advantage is speed and low labor intensity. The disadvantage of this method is in the poor colors.

Only shades of black and brown are possible.

If there is not enough experience in uniform burning of wood, you can use another option for brushing the lining with fire.You will need the same tools as in the previous method, including a sander and a metal bristle attachment.

In this variant of brushing, the lining is fired so that a completely black surface, burnt to a depth of several millimeters, is obtained.

1. No gaps between panels
