  5. After that, apply assembly glue to the edge of the lag, and treat it with waterproof PVA D-3 building glue into the tongue of each plate. The latter procedure will help create excellent water resistance.

  6. We lay the boards on the logs and press them so that the glue previously applied to the edges is neatly distributed over the surface of the log.The slab should be mounted with the long side perpendicular to the laid joists. Along the perimeter of the room, it should be fixed with self-tapping screws on the logs, and the step should be 0.2 meters. It is important that there is a gap of 1 cm between the walls and the slabs.

  7. Next, lay the next slab. The connection of individual elements is carried out according to the same "tongue-and-groove" fastening system.
  8. Remains of building PVA glue, which appeared at the junction of two boards, should be removed with a soft cloth. All joints of the slabs must necessarily be on the logs, but if the joint is located between the logs, then you will need to make an additional supporting jumper. It should be installed necessarily perpendicular to the lags.

  9. The joints between the boards should be additionally hidden with a sealant or a special mastic that can be used for wood coverings.

To reduce the amount of waste, it will be enough to use large pieces of slabs to start the installation of a row. The main thing is that a piece of the slab rests on at least 3 logs, that is, it can cover 2 spans at a time. It will be possible to move on such a floor already after a day, since this is how much time is required for the glue to freeze.
