Technical description

  1. Boiler body (heat exchanger and combustion chamber). From the boiler, the body consists of a welded combustion chamber and a tube-type heat exchanger, which is thermally insulated from slag fibers. The boiler also has hatches that are hermetically closed, as well as checks for loading, burning and cleaning.

    As standard, there are hatches on the left side of the boiler front wall.

  2. Ash pan. It is on it that the boiler drum is installed. The direct purpose is the accumulation of ash, which settles after the combustion of fuel from the rotary grate. In order to remove it, there is a large door.

    The groove between the ash pan and the boiler drum must be sealed tightly. The back half of the ash pan must be cooled with water. There is a separate hatch under the ash pan, where water is drained.

    If during the operation of the boiler the return water temperature does not heat up to the required 50-65 degrees for a long time, check the adjustment of the solid fuel Carbot and adjust the system so that the boiler operates at the specified temperature limit as little as possible. If suddenly, for some reason, you cannot perform the adjustment or the load is several times greater than the boiler's capacity, then the return water with a low temperature will lead to the rapid appearance of corrosion, due to which the boiler will soon begin to rapidly collapse from the inside. The service life and warranty will not apply to a boiler that has been damaged during operation with low temperature water. In this case, the responsibility for damage is shifted to the fuel system designer, consumer or contractor.

  1. Inspection hatch for cleaning and checking. It is required for observing combustion on the turning grate, as well as for observing the state of flame and slag, cleaning the grate, removing stuck slag, cleaning in a funnel.
  2. Control unit. All controls are placed in a box. The device can automatically start or stop the dosage of solid fuel at the signal of the sensor, and also turns on and off the fan.

    Electrical control provides two ways of adjustment. In order to regulate the temperature of the falling heating water, there is a thermostat, and it is possible to connect it with the thermostat control in the room, which will allow maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the room. Also on the boiler there are connection points for digital modern software control devices of the unit. The room thermostat is not included in the boiler delivery set, therefore, if desired, it will have to be ordered separately.

The water and its temperature in the boiler are measured by means of a water thermostat, which is best set to a temperature between 60 and 90 degrees.

There is a safety thermostat in the control box that helps prevent the water from overheating more than 95 degrees. When the water temperature reaches 95 degrees, the safety thermostat turns off and together with it and the boiler. A new start is made only manually, and this is written on the top panel of the control box.

  1. Stepper motor. The grille is rotated by a stepper motor driven by an electric motor, via a traction arm which is mounted on the control.

    Thanks to it, it is possible to switch and turn on the stepped rotation of the grille. To improve the quality of combustion, adjustment is carried out using an adjusting screw.

When the boiler is in operation, the hatch must always be closed, and it can only be opened when firing up, and then not for long.

  3. Rotating grille. This component of the carborobot boiler is driven by a special stepper motor. The process of regulated combustion is carried out on it, and slag from the furnace chamber also settles. The grille should be installed on dimming bearings in the lower part of the housing.
  4. Loading bin.

    The fastening of the loading hopper to the boiler (its body) is carried out using bolts by means of a seal (asbestos cord). It has a manhole with a sealed cover, and it is convenient to load coal for heating through it.

  5. Chimney. The connection between the fan and the tubular nozzle is made by a flexible aluminum tube that has a draft control damper.
  6. Ash collecting door.

    A special door, which is located in the lower part of the boiler on the ash pan itself, and is needed in order to remove the accumulated ash, which is obtained as a result of combustion.To ensure high parameters and prevent pipe clogging, the ash pan should be systematically cleaned.

  7. Slag collection door. The door, which has a lever, is convenient for selecting slag from the boiler through it.
  8. Drain bolts.

    Needed to drain water from the boiler during severe frost. There are 3 bolts in total - for of them are located on the back of the frost, one under the ash pan. They are used simultaneously with a tap to drain water from the heating system

  9. Pull lever. It can be driven by a stepper motor and is needed in order to perform stepped turns of the grating. The connection of the stepper motor to the lever is made through a bolt.

    If the bolt is removed, the traction arm will be manually operated. This method is used to shut down and check the condition of the boiler. There is also an adjustment screw on the lever so that the combustion process inside the firebox can be controlled.

  10. Cover for hopper with rubber seal. It is opened with a lever on the side.

    The hatch cover can be propped up at any time, if necessary, it will help to perform the function of a safety blast door. The rubber band seal for the cover should be checked for integrity each time the hopper is loaded. The cover seal is secured by a slightly inflated 20 * 1.75 inch bicycle tube. It has excellent sealing properties, so you should never experiment with profile rubber or sponge.

If the camera is damaged, replace it with a similar one. In addition, if the sealing layer is leaking, coal may catch fire in the hopper, but in this case, you should not look for the cause in the quality of coal or something else, such problems appear with a leaking seal. Also, the loading hatch cover acts as an explosion safety door. The cover must not be screwed on or pressed down hard. If necessary, it can be folded back to facilitate convenient fuel loading.

  1. Heat exchanger door. Such a door is large, and most often it is made of sheet steel. You can remove the door to clean the convective passages and the multicyclone module.
  2. Secondary air regulator. This part of the structure is needed in order to regulate the supply of secondary air.

    Under no circumstances should it be completely closed!

  • The control is fully automatic, which makes it possible to regulate the combustion with a thermostat. In this case, the boiler will generate the amount of heat that is needed, there will be no heat loss, the water will not boil.
  • Due to the fact that the automatic mode of operation is set and there is self-regulation, the dexterity and qualifications of the stoker are not so important. With the correct installation of the boiler, continuous monitoring is not required, and the draft in the chimney and changes in the weather will not affect the quality of combustion.
  • The boiler has high fuel combustion quality indicators.
