  4. Check if the twine setting is accurate. It is important that you be sure that the boards are mounted evenly, otherwise the gutter line will also be uneven.

It is desirable that the plank is secured with nails, although installation using self-tapping screws is acceptable. Fasteners must be galvanized to avoid corrosion.

After that, roof filing is carried out. The bars that are stuffed onto the wall should be located at the level of the bottom of the board.

After that, between the frontal board and the horizontal bar, it is required to fill the crate to which the filing will be attached - this can be lining, siding, profiled sheet, etc. The main thing is that you do not forget about the arrangement of ventilation gaps and, in the place of possible penetration under the roof, you can provide good protection from birds.

Wood protection

An eternal problem for this part of the roof is that wooden parts are short-lived and due to constant high humidity, even when well treated with fire retardants and antiseptics.

In order to prevent moisture from entering the frontal board, protect it with a special "apron" made of metal. If a metal tile acts as a roofing, then the frontal board will be protected from getting wet by a cornice bar - it can be installed after installing the hooks.

Cornice / frontal strip-drip

This element of the roof made of metal tiles has a specific purpose, and it is impossible to exclude it from the covering without permission. The eaves plank with metal tiles plays an important role. Although the total area of ​​the elements is not very large, they help to ensure the integrity and protection of the entire roof covering.

All types provide reliable and long-term protection of roof operation. The installation of the eaves plank is carried out at a height. For this reason, only stable and reliable stepladders or ladders (ideally prefabricated) need to be selected. If the roof height is more than three meters, inventory scaffolding is required for installation.
