And to give the desired thickness to the adhesive layer, the assembled sandwich panels are compressed under a certain pressure.

In addition to foaming the glue, its curing rate is very high - if you slow down the process, the glue mass will begin to polymerize.

And you can assemble a country house in just a few weeks! But all sandwich panels have one main disadvantage - they are short-lived. Their service life is approximately 50 years.
Before assembling wall sandwich panels with your own hands , prepare all the necessary materials for bonding in advance. Inspect the sheets of the future shell and the insulation layer. If necessary, clean them of various debris and dirt.
Then you can start producing sandwich panels.
Place the first sheet of shell on the table. Spread the polyurethane adhesive evenly over the entire area. Apply it with a spray gun or rubber trowel.
And don't forget about the quick curing of the glue.
After applying the glue, place an insulation layer on top. And also apply a layer of glue to its surface. Cover the insulation layer with the applied polyurethane glue with the second sheathing sheet. Put the first sheet of the next panel on the already assembled structure and repeat the whole process again.Next, transfer the package of several structures to a special press machine for the production of sandwich panels, and hold them until the glue is completely hardened.

In this case, you can use a vacuum pump. The technological process will be as follows: the sandwich panels are covered with an awning fabric, the edges of which are clamped. Next, use a hose and a vacuum pump to pump out all the air from under the awning. The holding time will be reduced to 40 minutes.
After this procedure, all sandwich panels should lie on a flat dry surface for 24 hours.
As a rule, sandwich panels are connected between themselves in a special lock. In a sandwich panel factory, the locks are molded on a press during compression.
Manual presses, unfortunately, do not have this function. But there is a way out.
It is necessary to put a wooden beam from one end of the sandwich panel between the enclosing layers, which will protrude beyond the shell. And on the opposite side, cut the insulation layer by the size of the protrusion of the wooden bar. As a result, you will get a completely high-quality castle.
